Let’s make coffee.

    Prepare the coffee

    Grind 16 g of coffee coarse and add it to the French press. Heat the brewing water to 96°C.

    Add water

    Pour in 192 g of water and wait 30 seconds.

    Stir and cover

    Give the coffee a gentle stir. Place the plunger on top of the brewer without pushing it down.

  4. 04

    Steep

    Wait a further 3 minutes 30 seconds.

  5. 05

    Plunge and serve

    Lower the plunger gently and evenly, then pour the coffee into your cup.

Scaling the recipe

The app uses 12 g of water per gram of coffee. For example, 32 g coffee uses 384 g water. Leave enough room in your French press for the grounds and plunger.
