Let’s make coffee.

  1. 01

    Prepare the brewer

Grind 11 g of coffee medium. Heat your brewing water to 95°C. Fit a paper filter into the cap, screw the cap securely onto the chamber, and place the brewer upright on your mug.

  2. 02

    Add coffee and water

Add the coffee, tare the scale, then pour in 200 g of water.

  3. 03

    Insert the plunger and steep

Insert the plunger about 1 cm into the top of the chamber without pressing. Leave the coffee to steep for 2 minutes.

  4. 04

    Press and serve

Press with gentle, even pressure. Stop when you hear the hiss, then remove the brewer and serve.

Allow time for the press

The two-minute timer is the steeping stage. Pouring and pressing add to the total time; there is no separate press duration in this app recipe.
